Trading Instruments
InstaForex gives traders access to a broad list of instruments. These include Forex, commodities, stocks (as CFDs), indices, metals, oil and gas, and a small set of cryptocurrencies. Most trading is done through MetaTrader, with mobile and desktop options.
Because the broker’s core focus is forex, currency pairs are a main highlight.
Forex
InstaForex lists over 100 currency pairs. Spreads are floating, and some exotic pairs come with wider pricing. The average spread can start as low as 0.8 pips, depending on the account type you use.
You’ll find major pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/CAD, plus exotics such as USD/DKK, USD/NOK, and USD/ZAR. The minimum deal size starts at 0.01, and the minimum pip price starts at $0.01. Margin can start from $0.10. Swap terms apply where available, including Swap Long and Swap Short for eligible accounts.
Stocks
Stock trading is available through CFDs, and it works with any InstaForex account. The platform lists over 80 stock instruments, covering well-known US and European companies. Examples mentioned by the broker include Apple, Walt Disney, and Facebook.
Since these are CFDs, you can trade using leverage and take positions in both rising and falling markets. The minimum lot size is 0.01, margin starts at $0.10, and leverage can be up to 1:5.
Indices
InstaForex also offers index CFDs, including major markets like SPX500, UK100, and DAX30.
Across account types, the spread for indices is listed as 0, leverage is 1:20, and the fee per lot is $10. Swap rates vary by index. Some instruments (like #SPX, #NDU, #COMPQ, and #FTSE) have a buy-swap of -3% and a sell-swap of -1%. For #DAX, the buy-swap is 0.23% and the sell-swap is -0.47%.
Precious Metals and Oil
You can trade a small selection of metals, including Gold Spot, Silver Spot, Gold Spot (500 oz), and Palladium Spot. The list is limited, but it covers the most traded metals.
Minimum lot size for metals is 0.01 (1 ounce), and margin starts at $0.10. Gold leverage is 1:20, while silver and palladium are 1:10. Trading screens show live pricing and futures movement, which helps when planning entries and exits.
Energy products are also available, including crude oil and natural gas. Tick cost is $10, and a $30 commission applies.
Cryptocurrencies
InstaForex offers crypto trading through CFDs, so you don’t own the coins. Available names include Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple.
The broker also provides crypto analytics and market notes. Crypto can move quickly, so it’s best for traders who understand the risks and position sizing.

Trading Platforms
InstaForex supports several platform choices, with MetaTrader 4 as a main option. This makes the broker feel familiar to many traders, especially those who’ve used MT4 before.
Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, Proprietary Mobile, Proprietary Web
Other platform and feature notes shown by the broker include demo accounts, hedging, and scalping support. US traders are not listed as supported.
MetaTrader 4
MT4 includes 9 timeframes and a strong set of charting tools for technical analysis. It also streams financial market news, which helps if you like to track what’s moving prices in forex, stocks, and other markets.
MT4 supports automated trading through expert advisors (EAs). You can build or install trading robots, custom indicators, and other tools. The platform also includes a trailing stop feature, which follows price movement to help lock in gains, but you need to keep MT4 open for it to run.
Security is another plus. MT4 uses 128-bit encryption to protect data shared during trading. You can also turn on one-click trading to place orders faster without a second confirmation step.
MT4 is available on desktop, and there are Android and iOS apps for mobile trading.
Functional Multiterminal
The Multiterminal is designed for traders who run more than one InstaForex account at a time, including those managing funds for other investors.
Its layout is similar to the MT4 Client Terminal, so it doesn’t feel foreign if you already know MT4. It runs on Windows 7 or later and focuses on making multi-account management simpler.
WebTrader
WebTrader runs in a browser, so there’s nothing to install. It works across major operating systems and browsers and supports multiple languages.
Like MT4, it offers 9 timeframes and one-click trading. It also includes analysis tools and supports custom indicators. InstaForex states that the platform uses modern security tools to encrypt data shared by users.
Payment Methods
InstaForex supports a range of funding options for deposits and withdrawals. Most deposit methods have no added broker fee and let you fund your account quickly. For withdrawals, it’s important to use the same currency you used when depositing.
The broker lists a minimum deposit of $1 (or the equivalent), and it doesn’t set a minimum withdrawal amount, so you can request a payout for any remaining balance.
Cards (Visa and Mastercard)
Visa and Mastercard deposits are typically processed within 24 hours. You’ll need to enter card details for your first deposit, and you can save the details for later use. InstaForex does not list a broker fee for card payments, but your bank may charge its own fees.
E-wallets
If you prefer not to use a card, InstaForex supports several e-wallet options, including Neteller, Skrill, Qiwi, Payco, and Yandex.Money. Processing times vary by provider. Neteller and Payco deposits can be instant, Qiwi can take around 15 minutes, Yandex.Money can take up to 3 hours, and Skrill deposits may take up to 24 hours.
Bank transfers
Bank transfers are also available for deposits and withdrawals. They’re generally reliable, but slower, and can take up to 4 days. Your bank may apply its own commission.
Crypto payments
InstaForex also supports funding via cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Tether. Deposits can be processed within 3 hours, and the broker lists no surcharges for these transactions.
Account Types
InstaForex offers both demo and live accounts. Live account options share several common features, including access to multiple markets (currencies, stocks, indices, metals, oil and gas, commodities, and cryptocurrencies). There’s also a swap-free option available on request, plus support for MetaTrader 4, Mobile Trader, and WebTrader.
Demo Account
The demo account is built for practice. After you open it, you can trade using virtual funds (starting at $100,000 or €100,000). The goal is to let you test strategies and get used to the platform without risking real money. Trading conditions are designed to be close to live accounts, with the key difference being that you’re using virtual funds.
Insta.Standard Account
The Insta.Standard account supports USD, EUR, and GBP deposits. It has no minimum deposit requirement and no maximum deposit cap.
It offers access to 280 instruments, with spreads starting from 2 and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots. For deposits over $100,000, the minimum trade size may be 1 lot. The maximum trade size is 10,000 lots.
This account uses fixed spreads and lists no surcharges for forex symbols. It supports Micro, Mini, and Standard trading. It also includes access to ForexCopy (copy trading) and offers instant order opening.
