Location and IP Rules
- Your IP location must stay in the same geographic region for the Challenge Phase and live accounts.
- If your region changes, you’ll need to show proof, like travel tickets or a live location check.
Trading Styles and Restricted Behavior
Martingale (Allowed)
- You may open up to 5 open positions in drawdown on the same pair at the same time.
Gambling (Not Allowed)
Gambling includes the behaviors below and can lead to disqualification.
Excessive scalping
- If 50% or more of your trades are held for under 1 minute, it counts as excessive scalping.
Martingale
- Opening 5 open positions in drawdown on the same pair is treated as gambling behavior under this section.
All-in trades
- Placing one trade without a stop-loss, or risking more than the drawdown limit to pass or fail the challenge.
Gamifying
- Trading two accounts against each other, going long on one and short on the other, hoping one passes.
- A “trade” can mean one or multiple positions on the same pair, opened around the same time, with similar lot size.
- Random small-lot entries that look like gambling don’t count and can result in disqualification.
News Trading Rules
- You can’t open or close trades within 2 minutes before or after a red folder news event.
- Any violation counts, even if a position is auto-closed, and can disqualify an evaluation or challenge account.
- Profits made during restricted news windows won’t be credited in the challenge or live phase.
- Instant funding accounts don’t follow this news rule.
Withdrawal Limits and Profit Distribution
Payout cap
- You can withdraw up to $10,000 per 30-day cycle, across all accounts.
- Any profit above $10,000 is removed, and your account resets to the starting balance after payout.
- The 30-day cycle starts on the date your first profit is closed.
Funded stage profit concentration rule
- Once total profits go over $5,000, no single trade or trading day can make up more than 50% of your total profit.
- A “trading day” is measured as the time between two trades, not a calendar day.
- If you break the 50% rule, profits above the limit are reduced to meet the requirement.
Mandatory risk interview after $5,000
- After you exceed $5,000 in payouts, you must complete a required risk interview with an analyst.
- You can reschedule one time.
- If you miss the rescheduled session, the payout will be held.
- You have 2 weeks from the invite date to complete the interview.
- They may also run random interviews for profits under $5,000.
- After payout, the account resets to the starting balance.
Risk Limit (Only If You’re Notified)
- This rule only applies to a small number of traders with weak risk control.
- If you don’t get an email about it, you can trade without added limits.
- If you are notified and then go past the risk limits in your email, your account will be breached.
Buyback and EA Policy
- Buyback lets you restore a funded account right away by paying a fee, with no new challenge required.
- EAs are never allowed on any platform.
Minimum Trading Days (2-Step Challenge Only)
- For the 2-step challenge, you must meet a 3-day minimum and reach at least 0.5% profit to move to the next phase.
- The same minimum-day rule also applies in the funded stage.
Instant Funding Rules
- You can only request withdrawals when your consistency score is 20% or lower.
- Consistency score formula: (Biggest winning day ÷ Total profit) × 100%
- If your score is above 20%, keep trading until it drops to 20% or less.
- Consistency score applies to the Instant program only.
Other Instant program limits:
- Your floating PnL can’t exceed a 1% loss at any time (the gap between balance and equity). If it does, the account is breached.
- You must reach at least 3% profit to request a payout.
- Daily loss limit is 2%, based on whichever is higher, balance or equity. If you hit that loss, the account is breached.
- Max trailing loss limit is 3%.
Maven Mini Rules
- You need 3% profit to qualify for a withdrawal.
- Once you hit 3%, you can withdraw right away.
- Each account gets one payout only, then the account is closed.
- You may only have 1 open trade at any time.
- Your floating PnL can’t exceed a 1% loss at any time, or the account is breached.
- Withdrawals are only allowed when your consistency score is 20% or lower.
- Consistency score formula: (Largest winning trade ÷ Total profit) × 100%
- If your score is above 20%, keep trading until it drops to 20% or less.
- Max trailing loss limit is 3%.
