amana names former Devexperts CTO Andrey Artamonov as Chief Technology and Information Officer

amana has appointed fintech veteran Andrey Artamonov as its new Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO), adding senior technology leadership as the neobroker expands across the Middle East.

Artamonov is based in Dubai and brings more than 20 years of experience in financial technology. He spent 17 years at Devexperts, where he served as Chief Technology Officer for nine years. During that time, he led an engineering team of more than 700 people and oversaw the development of trading platforms, brokerage infrastructure, and wealth management solutions for firms in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Before joining amana, he founded TripleA Digital in Lisbon. The consultancy focuses on automation and artificial intelligence tools for financial and operational workflows.

At amana, Artamonov will oversee application development, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, business intelligence, corporate IT, and platform operations. He will also help guide the company's technology roadmap as it develops new products and grows in the region.

CEO Muhammad Rasoul said the appointment fits amana's focus on technology and innovation, and he pointed to Artamonov's experience building financial technology at scale as a strong fit for the company's next stage of growth.

Artamonov said he sees room to build technology that supports amana's expansion and also raises the bar for digital investing and trading across the MENA region.

amana continues to widen its product range and regional reach. The broker now serves more than 500,000 users and offers access to over 6,800 financial instruments, including regional and international equities, ETFs, forex, commodities, and other asset classes.
