Andrew Biggs Joining IG to Head Up Trading Division

Andrew Biggs set to join IG as head of trading division

TradeInformer has learned that Andrew Biggs is set to join IG Group and lead the broker's trading division.

Biggs arrives from liquidity provider Finalto, where he's worked since 2018. In 2024, he became CEO of Finalto Trading. Before that, he served as the firm's Group Head of Risk and Trading.

The move follows the exit of IG's long-serving Trading Director, Adam Blemings, who left earlier this year after more than 20 years with the company.

Last week, the London-listed broker reported nearly £1.1 billion in revenue for 2025.

At the same time, IG is carrying out an internal strategic review. As part of that process, the company could move its listing from London to the US.
