Former RoboMarkets Polska CEO Mateusz Żelek appointed Born2trade product chief

Mateusz Żelek, the former CEO of RoboMarkets Polska, has joined Born2trade as Chief Product and Platform Officer. The executive announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post.

Żelek began his new role in September after leaving RoboMarkets Polska, where he had led the company as CEO since November 2024.

"Happy to share that I'm joining Born2trade as Chief Product & Platform Officer," Żelek wrote. "Looking forward to building, fixing, learning and having some fun along the way."

The appointment also connects Żelek's new role with his previous employer. One of the founders of RoboMarkets established Born2trade.

Before becoming CEO of RoboMarkets Polska, Żelek spent almost six years at trading technology company Match-Trade Technologies. He joined the firm in November 2018 as a Broker Support Junior Specialist. A year later, he became Deputy Head of Dealing and Broker Support, a role he held until September 2024.

Earlier in his career, Żelek worked as a Business Developer at Ebury and as a currency dealer at eFinco. He also briefly served as a junior trader at HFT Brokers Dom Maklerski.

Żelek earned a degree in finance and accounting from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, where he specialized in financial markets.
