Capital.com appoints former Pepperstone and XTB executive Gabriel Figueiredo to head Chile operations

Capital.com has named Gabriel Figueiredo its Country Manager for Chile as the broker prepares to expand in South America.

Figueiredo is based in Santiago and started the role this month. He will lead Capital.com's business in Chile and support its regional expansion. His responsibilities include growth strategy, business development, commercial performance, and strategic partnerships.

Before joining Capital.com, Figueiredo spent nearly four years with rival brokerage Pepperstone in Santiago. From March to September 2026, he was the company's Head of Growth for Latin America. Earlier, he led sales and partnerships across the region for more than two years, managing relationships with payment providers, institutional clients, and affiliates. During that period, he helped increase regional revenue by more than 30%.

Figueiredo also spent more than four years at XTB in Santiago. He joined the Polish brokerage in late 2018 to help grow its business in Brazil, then worked as Partnerships Manager for Latin America for three and a half years.

Before relocating to Chile, he was an account manager for foreign exchange broker HFM in Uruguay.
