Capital.com has appointed Chris Spenceley as its new Chief Marketing Officer, bringing an experienced advertising and brand executive to the company's senior leadership team as it expands into more international markets.
Spenceley has nearly 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing. His career includes senior roles at global agencies such as Grey and TBWA, followed by almost a decade at Ogilvy, where he served as Managing Partner.
He joins Capital.com as the company strengthens its international brand strategy and continues investing in its trading platform and customer experience.
In his new role, Spenceley will lead Capital.com's brand and marketing efforts across its global markets. His responsibilities will include brand positioning, campaign development, and creative direction. He will also help create a consistent identity for the company as it grows in established markets and enters new ones.
The appointment follows the recent redesign of Capital.com's mobile trading app and the launch of updated brand messaging focused on helping clients make better financial decisions. Spenceley's agency experience will support the company's efforts to connect creative brand work with a more coordinated international marketing strategy.
Before joining Capital.com, Spenceley held senior positions at Grey and TBWA. He later spent nearly 10 years at Ogilvy as Managing Partner, working with major brands and developing marketing strategies across various industries and regions.
His background in creative development, strategy, and leadership adds new experience to Capital.com's executive team as the company grows its international business.
Founded in 2016, Capital.com is an online trading platform available to clients in more than 180 countries. The company reports monthly trading volumes of over $100 billion and operates across several regulated jurisdictions.
Capital.com has also expanded its leadership team and international operations during 2026. Earlier in August, it appointed Mamoon Sbeih as Chief Strategy Officer. The company has also expanded into South Africa and continued investing in its trading technology and brand.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Spenceley will guide Capital.com's global brand strategy, campaigns, and creative direction. His appointment adds to the company's focus on reaching new audiences while strengthening its position in existing markets.
