StablecoinX Names Christopher Jensen as CEO

StablecoinX has appointed Christopher Jensen as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2026. Jensen brings more than a decade of institutional investment experience and a background in digital assets to the position. He will also join the company's Board of Directors and Investment Committee.

Jensen replaces Ted Chen, who guided StablecoinX through its Nasdaq listing in June 2026. Chen will remain Board Chairman and will focus on long-term planning, capital markets strategy, and StablecoinX's relationship with Ethena.

Jensen Brings Institutional Investment Experience

Before joining StablecoinX, Jensen spent more than 11 years at Franklin Templeton. His most recent roles included Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Digital Asset Research.

Jensen helped establish Franklin Templeton's digital asset group in 2018. During his time there, he worked on investment strategy, research, product development, and commercial efforts related to the firm's digital asset business.

Earlier in his career, Jensen worked at SLR Capital Partners, an alternative asset manager involved in asset-based lending, cash-flow lending, and specialty finance. He earned an MBA from Yale School of Management and holds a degree from Princeton University.

Focus on StablecoinX's Next Stage

As CEO, Jensen will manage StablecoinX's daily operations across its three core divisions: Infrastructure Services, Infrastructure Software, and Distribution Services.

He will also oversee the company's treasury strategy. StablecoinX currently holds about 3.03 billion ENA tokens, equal to roughly 20% of the token's total supply. The company describes itself as the largest corporate holder of Ethena's governance token.

StablecoinX trades on Nasdaq under the ticker USDE and develops infrastructure for the Ethena digital dollar ecosystem.

Jensen said he plans to turn StablecoinX's position in the Ethena ecosystem into consistent business results. His priorities include developing infrastructure that generates revenue, expanding the company's relationship with Ethena, and maintaining clear, institution-focused communication with public-market investors.

The appointment gives StablecoinX a CEO with experience in asset management, public markets, and digital assets as the company builds on its Nasdaq listing.
