Syed Tanvir Ahmmed promoted to Group General Manager at DB Investing

Dubai-based retail FX and CFDs broker DB Investing has promoted Syed Tanvir Ahmmed to Group General Manager, Global Business, Strategy & Operations.

Syed joined DB Investing earlier this year as Chief Business Development Officer. Before that, he was Regional Head of Business Development for ISC, SEA, and Oman at online broker OneRoyal. He has also held senior roles at ZaraFX, now known as Zarvista, and worked as a Business Development Manager at GMI.

DB Investing is a multi-asset broker that was founded in 2018. The company is regulated by the Capital Markets Authority in the UAE, the Financial Services Authority in Seychelles, FINTRAC in Canada, and the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius. It is led by Dubai-based founder and CEO Gennaro Lanza.

Syed shared the news of his promotion on social media, saying:

I am proud to share that I have moved from Chief Business Development Officer to Group General Manager, Global Business and Operations at DB Investing.

This is an important step in my career. What began as a business development role has grown into a wider leadership position with oversight of global business, operations, strategy execution, and growth across international markets.
