FX News Group has learned that Lambros Savva, a long-time IronFX executive, has moved to Retail FX and CFDs broker FXGlobe. He’s joining the company as Head of Operations.
Savva is based in Cyprus and left IronFX at the end of last year, which FX News Group also reported at the time. He spent nine years at IronFX after joining in 2016 in customer support. Over time, he moved up through several roles, including Head of Sales and Customer Support. For the past four years, he served as Head of Business Development.
Savva’s hire is the latest senior appointment for FXGlobe. Late last year, the broker brought in former Doo Group executive Reggie Sherekete as Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Earlier last year, FXGlobe also hired ex-IronFX executive Brett David as Global Head of Revenue Operations and Sales.
The FXGlobe brand runs a CySEC-licensed business via fxglobe.eu. It also operates an offshore (Vanuatu) brokerage under the same name at fxglobe.com. In addition, the group’s subsidiary APLFX (PTY) LTD holds an FSP license from South Africa’s Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA).
