Mohamed Elgayyar appointed HFM's Head of GCC and Egypt

Brokerage company HFM has appointed Mohamed Elgayyar as its new Head of GCC and Egypt.

Elgayyar joins HFM from GODO, where he worked as Regional Sales Manager. Before that, he led sales and partnerships at OW Markets.

At OW Markets, he managed international business development, developed partner offers, and worked with the executive team to align sales activities with the company's wider policies.

Earlier in his career, Elgayyar spent more than three years as Sales Manager at Orbex. He managed lead conversion and client retention across Egypt, North Africa, the GCC, Iraq, and Turkey. He also worked with finance teams to improve deposit flows across the region.

Elgayyar previously spent seven years as MENA Regional Manager at InvestAZ. His responsibilities included corporate sales, Arabic and English marketing, and payment service integrations.

He began his career in 2008 as a technical analyst at Arab Financial Brokers.
