IC Markets hires Petros Kalaitzis as head of IC Funded

IC Markets appoints Petros Kalaitzis to lead its prop trading arm, IC Funded

Online Best Forex Broker IC Markets is pushing ahead with its prop trading business, IC Funded. The company has brought on industry veteran Petros Kalaitzis as General Manager of IC Funded.

Kalaitzis is based in Cyprus. Over the last two years, he served as Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at prop firm FunderPro. FunderPro is part of a fintech group that also includes Netrios, a “broker as a service” and “prop as a service” technology provider, and Red Acre, an IT-for-brokers services firm.

Before FunderPro, Kalaitzis worked at broker technology provider Tools for Brokers. He was Managing Director and led the company’s Cyprus office. His earlier roles include Chief Experience Officer at NAGA Group, Head of Client Services at Tickmill, and Manager, Retail and Corporate Sales at Saxo Bank Cyprus. He started his FX career at eToro in 2012 as a Dealer.
