BitOasis Names Jonathan Rigg as Chief Executive Officer

BitOasis has named Jonathan Rigg as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds co-founder Ola Doudin as the UAE-based digital asset platform enters a new stage of expansion across the Middle East and North Africa.

The appointment comes as BitOasis develops its products, expands its regulated operations, and grows its regional presence. The company is also continuing its integration with CoinDCX, which acquired BitOasis in 2024.

Nearly a Decade of Banking, Fintech, and Digital Asset Experience

Rigg has almost 10 years of experience in global banking, financial markets, fintech, and digital assets.

Before joining BitOasis, he held roles at HSBC and Deutsche Bank, with much of his work focused on prime brokerage and capital advisory. He later spent about three years as Vice President of Commercial at Fuze Finance. As part of the founding team, Rigg helped build the company during its early growth.

His background also includes crypto infrastructure, over-the-counter trading, stablecoin payments, and Banking-as-a-Service. This experience gives him a broad understanding of traditional financial services and digital asset products.

Rigg to Lead BitOasis' Next Stage of Growth

As CEO, Rigg will oversee BitOasis as it expands its services and continues building its presence across the MENA region.

BitOasis has processed approximately $8.5 billion in spot trading volume and has served more than one million customers across the region. Its users include retail investors, family offices, and institutional clients.

Rigg said his priorities include improving BitOasis' products and capabilities while keeping trust and safety at the center of the company's growth.

The company has also expanded its regulated operations outside the UAE. In May 2025, BitOasis launched in Bahrain after receiving a broker-dealer license from the Central Bank of Bahrain.

In addition, BitOasis has grown its institutional services through an over-the-counter trading desk. It has also received regulatory approval for derivatives products that are progressing toward launch.

Rigg's appointment comes as BitOasis continues its development under CoinDCX ownership and seeks to strengthen its position in the Middle East's growing digital asset market.
