Robin Ejsmond Frey Joins GCEX Sales Leadership

Robin Ejsmond Frey appointed GCEX Director of Institutional Sales, Asset Management

Digital prime brokerage GCEX has appointed Robin Ejsmond Frey as its first Director of Institutional Sales, Asset Management. The newly created position will focus on expanding the company's work with institutional wealth management clients.

Based between London and Dubai, Frey will lead GCEX's institutional wealth management strategy. His responsibilities will include working with hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and qualified institutional investors seeking regulated access to digital assets.

The role covers GCEX's proprietary digital asset portfolio solutions and its wealth-as-a-service offering. Frey will also support the development of technology-based fund management tools that GCEX plans to introduce.

Frey has experience in both digital assets and institutional finance. He joins GCEX from Portal to Bitcoin Exchange, where he served as Head of Business Development. Before that, he was Senior Business Development Manager at Parity Technologies.

He began his career in financial services at Marex in London, spending four years as a Senior Crude Options and Swaps Broker.
