Sam Steele Promoted at Rostro Group, New Strategy Chief

Sam Steele promoted to Group Chief Strategy Officer at Rostro Group

Rostro Group, the company behind the Scope Markets and Scope Prime brands, has promoted Sam Steele to Group Chief Strategy Officer.

Steele joined Scope Prime in early 2022 and has served as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer since then.

He brings around 20 years of experience in the online trading industry. Steele started out at retail broker City Index as a sales trader and spent nearly six years with the company.

In 2011, he moved to GAIN Capital, which later acquired City Index in 2014. Before joining Scope Prime, Steele also worked at TradeTech, a business that has since rebranded as Finalto.

Rostro Group has also made other senior hires in recent months. Late last year, it appointed Kate Mason-Keaney as Chief People & Organisation Officer. In addition, Scope Markets CEO Pavel Spirin switched roles and became Chief Growth Officer at Rostro Group.
