XS.com Appoints Kasem Hekal as Senior Business Development Manager for MENA

XS.com, a global FinTech and financial services provider, has appointed Kasem Hekal as Senior Business Development Manager in Dubai, UAE. The hire adds senior commercial experience to the multi-asset broker's team as it develops new business opportunities and strengthens relationships with clients and partners.

Based in one of the region's leading financial centers, Kasem will support XS.com's business development strategy across the Middle East and North Africa. He will help connect the company's international services with the changing requirements of its clients and business partners.

In his new role, Kasem will build the company's business pipeline, develop client and partner relationships, and identify new commercial opportunities. He will work with XS.com's commercial teams to share market insights, support targeted initiatives, and develop prospective relationships into long-term partnerships. His experience will also help the company pursue growth while maintaining a consistent focus on service and client engagement.

Kasem has more than 15 years of experience in financial services, including over 10 years in foreign exchange and derivatives sales, account management, and business development. He has worked in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, serving high-net-worth and institutional clients, managing sales teams, and creating strategies based on market conditions and customer requirements.

His previous senior sales and business development positions include roles at Accuindex MENA, ATFX, and MultiBank Group. He also held earlier positions at GKFX and FXOpen. Before moving into commercial and client-facing roles, Kasem worked in financial operations and auditing, giving him experience with the operational standards required in financial services. He holds an MBA in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
