Alpha Capital Group has named industry veteran David Rapp as chief executive officer of ACG Markets, its newly launched brokerage arm in the UK.
Rapp has not made a public announcement about the move yet, but Alpha Capital Group has shared material that points to the appointment.
He brings more than 10 years of senior leadership experience in retail trading, with a strong focus on launching and running FCA-regulated brokers.
Most recently, Rapp ran his own consultancy. He advised FX and CFD firms, payments businesses, and family offices on regulatory applications, commercial planning, compliance, and operations.
Before that, he was CEO of the UK entities of IC Markets, BDSwiss, Eightcap, and Formax Prime Capital. In those roles, he handled FCA authorisations, regulatory approvals, business growth, and the setup of local operating structures.
Earlier in his career, Rapp spent more than five years at Saxo Bank. During that time, he held several sales and relationship management roles, including Head of HNW & Corporate Sales.
The appointment comes as Alpha Capital Group keeps expanding beyond prop trading. Earlier this year, the firm launched ACG Markets, which is regulated in Seychelles, as part of its broader move into brokerage services.
Rapp's track record with FCA-regulated brokerages makes him one of the more experienced names moving between prop trading and brokerage firms.
