Former RoboMarkets Polska CEO Mateusz Żelek takes product role at Born2trade

Mateusz Żelek, the former CEO of RoboMarkets Polska, has joined Born2trade as Chief Product and Platform Officer. The executive announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post.

Żelek began the new role in September, shortly after leaving RoboMarkets Polska. He led the company's Polish business as CEO from November 2024.

"Happy to share that I'm joining Born2trade as Chief Product & Platform Officer," Żelek wrote. "Looking forward to building, fixing, learning and having some fun along the way."

The appointment also keeps Żelek connected to his former company. One of RoboMarkets' founders established Born2trade, linking the new trading venture to Żelek's previous employer.

Before taking charge of RoboMarkets Polska, Żelek spent almost six years at trading technology provider Match-Trade Technologies. He joined the company in November 2018 as a Broker Support Junior Specialist. A year later, he became Deputy Head of Dealing and Broker Support, a role he held until September 2024.

Earlier in his career, Żelek worked as a Business Developer at Ebury and as a currency dealer at eFinco. He also briefly worked as a junior trader at HFT Brokers Dom Maklerski.

Żelek studied finance and accounting at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, where he focused on financial markets.
