GTCFX Appoints Charbel Raffoul as CEO After General Manager Hire

GTCFX named Charbel Raffoul its Chief Executive Officer in an announcement published October 19. He has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, including work in compliance, corporate governance, financial operations, and strategic management.

Compliance and Financial Operations Experience

Raffoul spent more than eight years at Equiti as Chief Compliance Officer & Financial Crime, where he worked on compliance frameworks and regulatory practices, according to GTCFX.

His previous roles include Director at ADS Securities, Head of Compliance at Alpari ME, and Back Office Manager at Swissquote.

Priorities for Strategy and International Growth

As CEO, Raffoul will oversee GTCFX's strategy and work on operational capabilities, innovation, corporate governance, and international business development.

The company also said he will focus on operational efficiency and relationships with clients and partners.

Appointment Follows General Manager Hire

GTCFX appointed Al Ali as General Manager before naming Raffoul CEO. Al Ali previously worked as a Legal Specialist in the Enforcement Department of the UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority, now known as the Capital Market Authority.

His responsibilities include operational efficiency, organizational development, and internal management standards. The two hires bring regulatory and compliance experience to GTCFX's leadership team.
