ATFX’s Weems Chan Wins Hong Kong’s Woman Leaders Award

Weems Chan, Global Head of Marketing at ATFX, has received the Hong Kong’s Woman Leaders Award from the World Women Leadership Congress (WWLC). The award recognizes leaders who guide diverse teams and run complex projects across multiple markets.

Chan said she sees the recognition as a team win, not a personal milestone.

“It’s such a privilege to be recognized alongside so many amazing women leaders. For me, this award isn’t just about my own work. It feels like a celebration of what our team at ATFX has achieved together. It’s a strong reminder of what we can do when we work closely and value different points of view,” Chan said.

That approach helps ATFX stay creative and responsive, while continuing to deliver for clients worldwide.

Chan also shared advice for women leaders early in their careers. She encourages them to trust their judgment, stay consistent, make clear decisions, and build networks that offer both support and honest feedback. To her, leadership isn’t about a job title. It’s about motivating others, facing challenges directly, staying grounded in your values, and backing diversity in the workplace.

She also pointed to ATFX’s team culture as a key part of building leaders across regions. With teams based around the world, the company encourages respect for different backgrounds and keeps communication open so ideas and feedback can move freely. Chan added that she appreciates ATFX’s management team for helping build and maintain a supportive environment.
