FTMO founders set to lead OANDA as co-CEOs

FTMO founders Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček have shared an update on OANDA's next chapter after FTMO completed its acquisition of the broker.

Their statement confirms that both founders will step into the top leadership role at OANDA and serve as co-CEOs.

According to the announcement, the change follows talks about the future of both businesses. As part of that agreement, current OANDA CEO Gavin Bambury and the FTMO founders decided that Šuffner and Vašíček will jointly lead the company.

The statement also praised Bambury's leadership and the strong base he helped build at OANDA. FTMO said his work played a major part in OANDA's growth and helped make the company an appealing acquisition for the firm.

At the same time, FTMO said both companies will continue to run as separate organizations. Aside from the leadership change, teams and operations across each country will remain the same.
